Applying To Be On The Biggest Loser

I spent much of my life overweight. I don’t know exactly when I figured it out, but I did and knew I had to change something. I don’t do things the way a normal person does, and my decision about how to lose the weight was no different. The Biggest Loser was my way of getting into shape. The first thing I had to do was figure out how to do that.
I went onto the web, and took a look at a site called biggest loser forum, which I found out had all types of information about diet and weight loss, exercise programs, helpful hints and they even had chat rooms where people can discuss the issues surrounding their weight loss program with people who are going through similar situations. The website led me to a place where I could download the forms that supplied all of the information about how to apply for the Biggest Loser. I had to give them a lot of information about my self and tell them why I should be on the show as well as make a tape that was to be submitted. The video had to be something that would wow the people who chose the contestants and was supposed to be between five and fifteen minutes long. They wanted the video to show my personality as well as providing information about my life. My whole life story was hanging in the balance as I prepared all of the necessary materials for the casting department of the show.
I filled out my application, made my video and waited, knowing that if I was lucky enough to be chosen to be on the show I would be taught how to lose weight fast, something that I knew would help me to live a long and healthy life that I could share with my family, and something that I felt was much needed. Despite all of my efforts I was sent a rejection letter. I figured they have to have had people who needed more help them me. I might have been rejected, but I was still fat. I was going to begin my own diet and exercise program with or without their help.
I made the commitment to begin to eat healthy and begin exercising, which at first meant doing sets of six pack ab exercises in my living room every night until I was able to get the money together to join a fitness club and get the professional help that I needed to reach the goals that I had set for myself, and to lead me in my new healthy lifestyle. The key to my plan was simple, eat food that is healthier for me and eat less of it. To my great surprise, I began to shed some of the pounds. I was watching the Biggest Loser season and comparing my weight loss to the people I had hoped to compete against. I was losing the weight the right way. I had as much help as the contestants on the show had. I said to like the new way I was doing things. I was becoming more sociable with each passing day. I found out that food does not have to be fried to taste good. I started to enjoy waking up each day.
I wasn’t chosen to be on the Biggest Loser, but that did not stop me. I was able to lose the weight without their help and able to begin enjoying my life. The Biggest Loser did play a part in my journey. If I didn’t make the decision to apply I would never have been turned down. Being turned down gave me the drive to show them that they were wrong about me. I was able to tell them to look at me now. I know that I am now the Biggest Loser because I am healthy.
