Wooden Toys Making a Green Comeback

Wooden toys are the most classic of all toys, and they have been quietly making a resurgence in the toy industry in current years. Wood toys are always popular because they’re not costly to produce, and they also can last generations if taken care of. But the comeback this day has to do with the “greening” of the toy industry. More and more parents have made it clear that environmental issues are important to them, and the toy companies are listening. Wooden toys, if produced sustainably, can be a great boon to this new trend in eco-conscious parenting. Some toy producers are going to great lengths to make sure their products are not only sustainable, but also are benefiting the environment, such as tree-planting campaigns as well as using recycled materials.
